    What's wrong with getting used to the Japanese voices?

    And I beg to differ on the dramatic thing.  Maybe it loses a little bit when you have to read, but I can still get into a good scene in a subbed anime just as much as in a good dub.

    ^^ I beg to differ. Text has never stopped me from feeling emotions while reading a book or manga or anything, and there's nothing wrong with getting used to the Japanese voices. Sure, I had to read a bit, but I was still teary-eyed for roughly half of [the last episode], so clearly little was lost. When Madoka does get dubbed, I'll probably find the original audio to be better anyway, since I like the sound of Japanese more than English.

    @ Chuggles: If anything, the fact that Japanese is in my opinion prettier than English only adds to the tension while I'm reading, since it has more impact than if the words were all English, textually and sonically. It's a matter of taste, I suppose.

    And then there's the matter of whether or not Madoka gets a good dub in the first place. Strike Witches didn't.

    That said, Funimation did license To Aru Kagaku No Railgun, which I would love to buy except for the fact that Funimation takes forever to actually release shows, so I have no idea when it'll be out...

    I'm very glad that I don't prefer hearing things in my native language, because it's way harder to find Korean dubs of any anime.

    I usually do, as well. Japanese is an exception for me. If it's, say, English vs. Spanish, though, I'll take English in a heartbeat.
