    I think it was an understandable mistake.  It just might have been sensible to make sure you knew what you were talking about before arguing the point.

    Also, to nitpick: German isn't my cultural heritage at all, as Scots is for Conductor.

    If I wanted to throw around my cultural heritage, I'd be inserting Polish, Lithuaninan, possibly Russian or Gælic, or some random African Language into my posts.

    ^^^ Yeah, but I can kinda understand the Conductor's reaction.  It must get pretty annoying to have your culture ignored all the time, and then have a foreigner claim that they know more about it than you do.
