    I meant if I need to plug a synthesizer or a keyboard/synthesizer into my computer to make it work, I can't use it because I don't have them.

    ^ I think it would be sprites for now.

    Oh, almost any music composition program should let you work with just standard computer keyboard and/or mouse.

    Music composition programs like Sibelius, MuseScore, Rhapsody, and such might also let you save things as MIDI files.

    Well, I can do any size spriting you want. I'm best with sprites in the 80x80 to 100x100 range, but I've been able to do small, 16x16 (smaller and detail loss can be horrific >.<) and very large, nigh on pixel art sprites before

    And I assume the size thing was to me as the music post doesn't seem to mention anything relating to size... Now I feel like you meant glenn. D:

    That was probably a question directed to you, but in case it was at me, I'll answer too.

    Better programs are a few hundred megabytes--Sibelius fits on a CD-ROM, for example.

    However, small programs like FamiTracker can be downloaded easily.

    i reley dont wan to say this, but i have to now.
    this game is so esey. i mean, all you do is hit the spacebar. thats it! how is this an RPG anyway? you cant contrail anything but what it says on the screen! what if i didnt want to buy the potion? what apout quests? all you can upgrade is stranth? there is no way you can lose to the boss at the end! this game is crap! its not even an RPG at all! i mean look at it! in what way is this supposed to be an RPG if you can do quests and stuff? all you do is press one butten the entier time! explain to me! the athore coments al totol lies! is it supposed to be stick dudes? i dont even know how this damn game got the daily 3rd prize, or a rating of 4.26!

    Hmmm, the problem I found out is since I am on Windows 7 and have a 64 bit computer I am having trouble getting Python's IDLE to import Pygame. Google magic ensues...

    I have decided to migrate to RPG Maker XP for now due to the fact that it would save time. I don't even have an idea layed out yet, and I can't even run a script I wrote from a tutorial since I only learned how to do one thing 5 hours ago in Python. Pygame would be extremely flexible, but until I find a more reliable source than youtube for questions and tutorials then I may have to hold off on it for now.

    Also, there are advantages to Youtube.  More support for embedding on websites, plus more playback controls than Flash videos usually have.

    Though, the Youtube upload will always be lower quality than the original, so that's kind of a negative thing.

    Found a nice place to get scripts for RPGMXP to make it suitable for my game idea. I will practice writing some up of my own.

    I can definately help with RPGMaker XP. I have a few scripts on my game that could be useful (took some searching to get them) such as an item storage system and a script that lets you break the limit of items, switches, monsters, etc.

    Ah, those sound useful. For now I am attempting to go either the side-view style or just lock into a grid-based SRPG format so far. Bit difficult, but the scripts I am finding are helping.
