    One thing I do have to say, bobby, the closest thing to a warning I got was the reprimand after the IP ban/Skullfuck/forum ban. About the rest, you were quite spot on.

    ^^ That's true, I guess it just shows that people should really find more than one thing that they enjoy/focus on in life.  Myself included.  Granted, even those of us who aren't obsessed with it can admit that TvTropes is a huge time sink, and it is no doubt difficult to find what to do with all of those hours after being banned.  Then again, that might not necessarily be an entirely bad thing.

    I've taken a few leaves, and there are plenty of things I can do with the extra hours. Admittedly, mostly video games, but my overall mood tends to improve with breaks.

    As much as people hate the Appeal To Worse Problems fallacy, my sympathy for Chagen is extremely limited, as there are indeed people much worse off than some boy in an industrialized nation getting banned from a site and they still have the drive to continue living.

    EDIT: Cut out racist remark.

    Well, I doubt Chags will actually kill himself.  Teenegers threaten to kill themselves all the time, but rarely do they do it.  Aside from that, is it wrong to say that there are a lot of people I'd really, really miss is I were to be banned?  I mean, a lot of us have made some good friends on the fora, and more than a few of us have even started budding relationships there.
