The game XIII will be removed from GOG's catalogue at the end of the year.
Someone suspects this may be due to a company called Anuman Interactive, for some reason. (Last post of first page of that thread.) I don't know anything else.
But yeah, if you want that game, get it now, for US$2.99, from GOG.

So Dead Island won the vote thing.
Obligatory reminder to people not to buy it.
Notion supported.

Can anyone who's played Transformers: War for Cybertron say if it's worth 5 bucks?
A friend at work recommended it to me one time, but that's all I can say.
Oh, I should also post the obligatory reminder not to buy Towns.
Is towns actually just the same as Majesty?
I'm unfamiliar with Majesty, but Towns is a very early prototype of a simplified Dwarf Fortress-ish thing, released as a full product ready for sale.

Not Steam, but the entire Ultima series is going for under $10 on GOG.
Ooh, Recettear and Grimrock are both options for tomorrow. Tough choice -- both are awesome.
Also, Fallen Enchantress is 50% off. Very good game.

I'm going to say this now, do not buy Overlord. It's Pikmin without any of the charm or good gameplay.
^^Good to know.
^FWIW, it's the only game I've ever had to uninstall because I liked it so much I wasn't doing anything else in my free time.
Wound up voting for Grimrock because Recettear has been out longer and featured in more sales, and thus there are probably fewer people who want it but don't have it.
I don't know man, I actually liked Overlord
At this point I'm convinced that if I had a nicer computer I'd actually be a PC gamer.
^^I'd have to ask why, because while the dialogue was witty enough, the gameplay was a complete slog. Seriously, the level design is very poor and none of the environments are good enough to make up for it. I've had to quit levels so I could go back to first level and grind sheep to get enough souls to recover my army, multiple times.
Not to mention nearly everything in the game could be overcome by "have enough Brown Minions".
I voted for Recettear!
Me too. Every time that game is on sale I think about getting it but then don't.
In the category of "hidden" sales, the non-T4 Tropico products have been discounted -75%.
That said, it appears that Indie Gala's store has Tropico 3 (just that by itself) for even cheaper. I don't know how that site works though.
Other "hidden" sales include Saira, Rock of Ages, Analogue, and many other games.
Okay, fuck it. I'll buy Fallen Enchantress.
Should I buy the map pack too?
Given that it's only $2.50 I can't really see why you wouldn't.
Nah. Once you get used to the game, random worlds are where the fun is.
EDIT: Oh, apparently it improves random maps too. I guess I should get it >.>
What's Fallen Enchantress?
Civilization, but magic (can't say how accurate that is because last time I played Civ I was 8, but...seems like it, anyway).
Do not play the story campaign, by the way. It takes all the fun bits out of the game.
