The paperback Haruhi covers are nice though, and so are the 'My Girlfriend Is A Geek' covers (That's pretty much all the LNs from Yen Press I've read).
When I was a little kid, I thought Mowgli from Disney's The Jungle Book was a girl, because his hair was a bit longer than usual for boys.
I really like the animu cover for Spice & Wolf volume 1; I can't see what possible reason there would be to not want it unless I guess you don't want people to think you like faggy anime books or something.
Of course, I only have the crappy cover. >_>
I prefer the anime cover, but it's just kinda generic and bland.
At work, we take turns at playing music from our portable players/phones so our time would pass more quickly.
Today, it was my turn, so I stuck the speakers in my phone and played the music; mostly rock and metal stuff.

In other order of news, a new 4chan board has borned (NSFW link yadda yadda). It's about discussion of the site itself so it's not very interesting unles you are a user of the site.
Also some stuff about how my meds and disorders are being used as excuses (My meds wear off completely after 8 hours, so split shifts were always a bad idea. Especially since one med fucks with my blood pressure. I don't like the idea of taking that one twice in one day)

So I got my hair tidied up a bit. I think the sides look better, aside from the part where my hair just grows in really thinly anyway, even compared to the rest of the stuff on the sides (REALLY, THANKS A BUNCH FOR THE AWKWARD HAIR DAD!). I think this style has potential, but I still need to give the front/top time to grow into a proper fringe like I had before. Eh, worst come to worst, I'll shave it all down to the same length in a week or so; it doesn't look terrible that way.
I have to wonder what you played; I played Mastodon one time, back when I was still working at the pool, and I only got one complaint. But, uh, it does always amuse me when metal is conflated with emo, or immediately interpreted as depressing. I blame The Devil Wears Prada and their ilk.

The complaint came after Blind Guardian's Battlefield. The guy was really amusing, he thought that, of all things, Bon Jovi's It's My Life was Slipknot. Not very bright, but not a bad sort nevertheless. Also, most of the others liked my music, but he was really annoying so I let him play his own instead.
