    It's not particularly expensive, but I spent $30 on the potting mix, that bamboo fence around it cost $37 and the rocks cost $20.

    About fifteen minutes. I just packed earth around it. It will solidify over time.

    I am planning to do a bit more work out in the backyard. Or a lot more. Whatever.

    On the right hand side of the flowerbed is even more space- what you saw was less than half of what I dug up. I'm planning to plant a bunch of vegetables there.

    I'm also going to move our swingy chair to rest next  to our chicken coop, and dig out that entire area of the backyard- about, oh, ten, twelve square metres? and plant larger flowers and mini bushes there.

    I am also going to dig out another flowerbed against the side of the house, rather than the shed.

    I shall also pave a path running from the back gate to the side path.

    It will take me a while, but I think it will be worth it.
