I enter the back sit of the bus, it's overcrowded, I'm standing right next to the validator. Some guy behind me wants to validate his ticket and asks me to move. I don't have anywhere to move, so I lean in order for him to validate it. The bus suddenly accelerates, I try to adjust my position so I wouldn't fall and accidentally hit the woman in the face with all my elbow, and pretty forcefully at that.

From what I can tell, Uruguay has always been pretty progressive in regards to gay rights, so.
^^^ Brazil was the first Western country to overturn its sodomy laws, eliminating all references to homosexuality in its penal code in 1830. They are Patient Zero here.

In my humble opinion, Maduro is a fool and the Venezuelan system of socialism leaves much to be desired, but he is still the lesser evil.
I've been making an Alexpost since last week, but no, too many mood swings to post something I won't change my mind about. I'll only say that this was the craziest campaign I've seen or heard of.
Man, the wait is killing me. I guess I better say this now. I didn't like him at first and don't know if he would be a good president, but Capriles has earned my admiration due to the enormous task he took upon and how he's handled it.
How is that incompetent, moronic, authoritarian, homophobic, sycophantic, puerile tool the lesser evil?

Man, I don't know what to fucking think. We're going to be facing a crisis while having the dumbest president we've ever had, who clearly isn't a favourite among the public, whose loyalties within inner post-chavism are dubious, and depending on how disappointed the others are, the strongest and most united the opposition has ever been. The only thing I'm certain about our future is that Maduro won't be in it.
Whatever happens, I just wish the country doesn't fall into a hole it won't be able to get out of...

Friendships were one party is more invested than the other are dime a dozen. If you're not getting enough out of it and your needs aren't being met, just do a slow fade. Sunk cost fallacy also applies to interpersonal relationships.
I don't think that'd help at all. I just really think it's more about my self-esteem than anything.
On a positive note, I haven't laughed this hard at a Not Always story in a while.
