Various peeps are urging me to get hipster glasses. Since the groundwork is already established anyway, I don't see why I shouldn't go all the way.
I've started wearing the scarf.
Really, the only thing I yet need are thick-rimmed glasses.
Do you have the horrible facial hair and dorky hat too?
>Horrible facial hair
Not anymore, since Movember's become too mainstream, and dorky hats I got aplenty(Rastafarian cultural appropriation, fedora, Mexican cultural appropriation, a knock-off Mario cap, lotsa bandanas, skapunk beanies, and one of those artsy French hats).
I don't like hats. As for horrible facial hair... define horrible.
Does it make you look punchable? Have people said it looks bad? Does it compel you to use your knowledge of loved ones to hurt them in the most profound ways possible?
1) I haven't been punched by a random stranger yet, so no.
2) Nope.
3) I don't need facial hair for that. >
You guys are making me wonder if my facial hair counts too.
New flatmates will be Italian and Taiwanese dudettes. The room next to mine being occupied will mean I have to be silent at night(or use dance-limiting headphones), or start observing a reasonable day-night rhytm. Hopefully the occupant will be a heavy sleeper/too meek to complain.
A cop who came through my line earlier said he got a call at 5 AM about a fistfight at a Toys R Us.
Black Friday violence is one of the biggest shames of the United States. We're so materialist we're fighting to be more materialist than the other guy.
>Black Friday.
>Not shopping exclusively online.

Isn't Cyber Monday better for deals online that today?
As far as I can tell, Cyber Monday has been replaced with a vague period surrounding Thanksgiving.
Have you ever wanted to experience the most epic parts of the Lord of the Rings saga as a Counter-Strike player? Look no further.
Also, how do you embed videos again?
I'd worry more that Black Friday is an awful thing to adopt.
So I was listening to my 4chan cup playlist.
And it played Black Out Band's "Videogames" just after Neutral Milk Hotel's "King of Carrot Flowers Part 2".
And it's amazing how alike the singers from both bands sound.
I don't see the problem with Black Friday. I certainly enjoy it.
The fervor of people camping out like crazy for monetarily great deals on various products is a far
Black Friday is nice for getting good deals on various items, sure. But not in the insane frenzy sort of way. Or in the opening stores earlier and earlier and earlier sort of way either.
I feel sorry for the suffering you must have had to endure there.
I'm serious, too.
On a different note, went to see my college's production of A Christmas Carol. Was nice. Pleased to see that my name was in the program (under "Scenic Crew" with a bunch of other people).

And this is just one reason why Black Friday is annoying.
For consumers ginned up about getting their choice of product, and possibly camping out hours before the store opens, it's a fun activity.
For the rest of us, we get to suffer the externalities.
Mouse is being kind of on-and-off, so I ordered a new one. Hopefully this one lasts until it arrives, though I can probably find a spare somewhere.
So, apparently, Maine hosts the Four Square World Championships.
If I had known this in elementary school, I would have felt incredibly validated.
Gah. I'm absolutely burnt out on schoolwork, but there's still so much left. I don't know how I'm going to make it through another three and a half years of this, especially if work ever enters the equation.
I've found from my personal experience that a small amount of term-time work just kinda gets rolled in and doesn't seem to make much impact; if I feel overwhelmed I don't feel any more overwhelmed. But we're talking less than 10 hours a week of work.
Regarding the Slavery Footprint thing: I got 25, although it might have been lower had I seen the "fine tune" thing earlier, or if I were allowed proper elaboration—I like to buy things used, and the coffee and tea I get is fair trade.
I thought that was being discussed on this page, but I think I got confused.
