TL;DR the developer of This War of Mine is donating all profits to Red Cross Ukraine.
GOG, the store, is also donating its share of the profits of sales of this on GOG.

This isn't the only place This War Is Mine is being sold; if you want to pay more, check other stores/platforms, or buy extra copies for your friends.
Another giant bundle on itch.io
FYI:
* This bundle currently contains 991 items, of which "more than 600" have never been in a major bundle before.
* All proceeds will be donated to charity, split evenly between International Medical Corps and Voices of Children. (These are described further on the bundle page.)
* Only paid products are in this bundle. This is different from past giant bundles.
I'm guessing this is a thing that connects to a server.
It's basically Mega Man but with anime girls.
Apparently my keyboard's been ghosting some of my inputs with the default keybindings. I didn't realize this, and thought this was a constraint of the game. And I beat three bosses this way.
The ghosting, amusingly, happens in two different ways on the two keyboards I tried.
Default keys are Z to jump, X to shoot (hold X to charge), and arrow keys for movement. Also A/S to quickswitch weapons.
I moved the "face buttons" up one row, so it's now A to jump, S to shoot/charge, and Q/W to quickswitch. Suddenly, all ghosting issues are gone and now I can even slide while holding a charge!
28 hours and change left, as of the posting of this message
Also, Disco Elysium at a 65% discount. I'm waiting till it's ~80%, but it's a good deal for such a well-received game. (Personally, I've made up my mind to play anything but a commie to spite the RL commies fawning over it.)
Now, if I could just get the game and then uninstall the Epic client, I'd get in in an instant, but something tells me you either can't do that, or need to be a lot more skilled at computer stuff than I already am. Well, let's see if there's some secret way to pull it off hiding on some half-forgotten forum...
Or do you mean actually installing it to your computer?
also the GOG Summer Sale just started
Courtesy link: https://www.gog.com/en/game/venetica
That's selling for $4.99 right now.
While I haven't played Pirate's Curse yet, I've played Risky's Revenge, and other games from the same developer, WayForward, as well as other games with the same composer, Jake "virt" Kaufman, and I think highly of them. I definitely recommend both games.
Perturbator music videogame alert: Virtuaverse"POBIERZ GRĘ" = "download the game"
Except the link expired. But still, it's a bit of a nottheonion moment. Perhaps they'll renew it in finite time.

Also, there's a big sale on JRPGs, VNs, and various other Japanese or similar games going on at GOG.
https://www.gog.com/promo/2022_moon_festival
And on top of that there's also a sale on Squenix games at GOG.
https://www.gog.com/promo/2022_square_enix_summer_sale
(But not Squenix's JRPGs, because Squenix's Japanese side doesn't like making their games DRM-free for some reason. So it's just Squenix's western IPs.)
