I clench my fists and yell "anime" towards an uncaring, absent God, and swear solemnly to press my thumbs into Chocolate America's eyeballs until he is blinded, to directly emasculate sporting figures, to beat the shit out of tumblr users with baseball bats, and to quietly appreciate what Waylon Smithers being gay means to me.
Political cartoons are a form of media that uses the visual arts to portray political situations and opinions. With very few exceptions, most political cartoons are boring or banal. But some cartoonists are reprehensible human beings beyond any semblance of humanity and dignity. This thread is dedicated to the worst of the worst: Af Branco, Chuck Asay, Glenn and Gary McCoy, Michael Ramirez, Toad Rel Ted Rall, and Mike Lester. You do realize that the reason these outspokenly flamey conservatives (specifically, the outspokenly flamey ones) accuse the Democrats/liberals/progressives/"the left"/etc. of taking advantage of political situations in order to push ideological agendas is because, if said outspokenly flamey conservatives had Democratic/liberal/progressive/"leftist"/etc. political goals and were faced with the same political situations, that's what they would do?
It's like they're unable to comprehend that there's a whole world of policy decisions that has nothing to do with ideology, so they try to shoehorn the framing of every political decision to have something to do with an epic ideological battle between the right and the left, conservatives and liberals, Republicans and Democrats, and so forth.
