When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
Well, no. But then again, perhaps the same could be said of all political discussion forums.

  • Your words are a s empty as your soul. Mankind ill needs a Savior such as you.
  • So, who else doesn't vote/doesn't plan on voting?
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
I'm voting. It'll just be for Ralph Nader.
  • Ugh Nadar I love is social views just can't stand his interventionist economics.
  • also Zabu for the sake of clarity could you enlighten me as to how you define "left" and "right"?
  • First of all, anarchism has always had overlap with communism. It can hard to tell the difference when reading definitions of the two the way they each talk about the end of classes, stateless societies, and toppling the government. So when you refer to "anarchist/libertarian" attitudes on YouTube, the way you grouped those two confused me.

Second of all, for my money, left and right is a definition of class in society. The lefter you get, the more overlaps there are between classes and the more redistribution of wealth and resources between classes there is, before you get to the end, where no classes exist at all. Since the right favors private property and capitalism, class is inevitable there, before you get to the far right, where class differences are absolutely inherent for whatever reasons and Nazism takes root.

  • But how can Anarchism use communism without the force fo qa state to "re-distribute" wealth? I can understand that sort of commune existing on Voluntaryist principles though I don't think such redistribution should be forced on to people thus infringing on their property rights.  Now here's wat bugs me about the general perception of  Capitalism. It seems to be conflated with Corporatism. There is a difference between Pure/Laissez-faireCapitalism (which I support). State Capitalism, and Crony Capitalism (neither of which I support). The

The problem is that the former naturally turns into the latter.

    WHAT IS A MAN?!

    *crash*

A MISERABLE LITTLE PILE OF POLITICAL OPINIONS!!

    BUT ENOUGH TALK...HAVE AT YOU!!
  • and with that sort of argument Nyktos I could just as easily state the same about Socialism inevitably leading to Communism and then Totalitarianism.
  • In conclusion: fuck politics.
  • a little muffled
Not sure where you're getting the idea that I'm a socialist.
  • What are you? I'm just saying that that "argument" could be easily applied to many places on the spectrum.

I think socialism is overall a nicer idea than capitalism, but the extreme forms of either one are equally unrealistic as far as I'm concerned.
  • Fun fact: Even Adam Smith was against laissez-faire capitalism.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
    U playin bro
  • DonZabu: The difference between Communism and Anarachism is that, yes they both want to end class, and topple the government, but while Anarchists simply want "no government ever", Communists want a newer, better government that redistributes wealth equally.

Actually, no. The dictatorship of the proletariat is meant to be a transitional state between whatever was there before and true communism, which is entirely stateless. This is why people claim that communism has never actually existed.
  • Then what system was Adam Smith a support er of?
  • I go to Adam Smith College. Thought I'd share that.

And he's got a new trick! Magical Trevor is three times as - wait, what were we talking about?

No need to cite specific examples "All of it" is the most reasonable response at this point but uh...

    This

I don't get it it's as if you don't embrace everything associated with the pollitical left you're some horrible awefull person.

    and this

So you're syaing Libertarianism is exactly the same as Conservatism? That they are right and based on that do not support civil liberties and personal freedom. That they want to censor the media, to get in insane wars and imperialistic policies? That they want to ban gay marrige? That they want to make a Theocrcy?

would be a good start. Especially that second one. I mean really, it's like everything is lack and white with you.
  • Glaives are better.
As a conservative, imperialist madman, I object to the negative stereotypes of conservative, imperialist madmen in the media and online.
