And isn't "social democrat" more left-leaning than right-leaning anyway? Though I guess that depends on where your "center" is, and for economic policy in the US it's further to the "right" than in Europe; dunno about Latin America.
Getting angry and wanting to say mean things out of anger doesn't make one a Nazi, even if it is obnoxious, but Nazis don't mind using that as a way to make new supporters out of disaffected individuals.
You're confusing me with somebody else. I haven't been banned from HH (for that reason or any other) or said/did any of these things.
One can (and should) wish for the best for their country, and if they can find value in socialism or whatever, all the better for them, but to jump from that and stand up for it, pretend it wouldn't commit the bullshit it's commited or that those of us affected by it shouldn't talk about it... well, there's a line in there somewhere.
(Also, they would deny that last one (and have done so) until their faces turn blue, but that's what happened.)
I used to believe it was a matter of implementation, too. Eventually I learned that what we're getting is simply the softcore version of what people in other parts of the world have gotten, and how it can be tracked to socialism.
And yeah, social democracy is considered a lefty ideology. As for the spectrum thing, it varies wildly. Venezuela is of course heavily skewed to the left, Colombia to the right, I know Chile is heavily polarized on both ends, I think Perú, Brazil and Argentina are more-or-less center. Dunno about the others.
If it helps matters, I think you can genuinely use our situation to advocate for social democracy (three of the four largest opposition parties being openly social democrats, some of the (IMO) best governments we've had being social democratic, and pointing out that socialists hating social democracy means one probably shouldn't blame the latter for the former's faults, etc.)
She wasn't referring to you.
Main points seem to be:
First: When you're angry, don't post, unless you can think clearly through that anger.
Second: I'm pretty sure I remember you saying stuff like that. It's okay that your memory of traumatic events is fuzzy, and you probably didn't mean to say those things, so that's why I'd rather not bring them up.
Third: The more you try to put someone else down, the worse you show yourself to be to other people. You're only making yourself look worse by indulging your anger and zapping insults at people. If you want to prove that you're better, don't go back to having spitting contests. Instead, rise above it.
In summary: Can it. If you don't, I'll have to restrict you to posting in Members Only threads.
Also, being "fat and ugly" has jack all to do with this issue. That's purely just you flying off the handle again.
You really, really need to talk to your therapist about how you have these grudges and can't let things go. Because as long as you don't let them go, these personal demons of yours are going to keep on haunting you, and you're going to keep lashing out at people at the drop of a hat, like you just did, and that's going to continue to annoy not just the people you hate but also the other people around you, including people who want to be your friend but don't want to be part of your desires for spite.
If you stop doing things like this, you'll stop pushing away people who might be your friends.

Or maybe, and is almost certainly the case in this instance, she had a different recollection of the events and wanted to present her side of the story, for the record.
Sometimes, people say things that you react to but don't actually do that in order to make you mad. This is why I've said, this is your paranoia acting up again.
Anyway, in accordance with the private conversation you and I just had over Steam, I will now be restricting you to posting only in the Members Only category of this forum. That will unfortunately restrict access to a few other threads you've been interested in, but I want your rehashing of this drama to stop ASAP, because it's not making anyone happy, not even yourself.

God, never has the teal dear been more appropriate. Sorry for importing drama but this bugged the shit out of me. Hope y'all are doing well.
And Ray: I have a lot to say to you about a lot of things, but for all of my thoughts and feelings, and for as much as I hope that you get over this venomous grudge... I've heard you're doing fairly all right, all things considered, and I'm sincerely happy for you, and I hope that things keep going well for you from here on out.
Despite not being familiar with all the details of this opinion (such as the government systems/regimes cited herein), I am inclined to agree with this, based on my own experiences with U.S. politics.
