Magic: the Gathering fans that hang out on MtG Salvation can be pretty obnoxious sometimes.
This becomes apparent whenever a new set is about to be released. Just go to the rumor mill, and they'll spend their time complaining about the newest spoiled card being totally unplayable, or that the new mechanic sucks, or whatever. Much of the time it turns out to be just fine, since the people designing the set are actual professional game designers.
I think someone hit the nail in the head once when they said that the really dangerous cards are the ones nobody expects to be broken.
