First, I don't mean ANYONE on this board. 

Second, why do it? Why can't you be polite, why is it that every post you make has to be littered with sarcasm and generally cuntishness? 

I know we give Eddie a bad time for his FRIENDLY AND CIVIL DISCUSSION stuff, but I can kind of see the point. I mean, isn't it nice when someone can just tell they're opinion without being utter dicks?

    From what I've heard and experienced, it's an offshoot of the western "macho" culture and the insecurity that gives rise to it--basically, these people want to show themselves to be aggressive because to them, aggressive = strong and manly, while being polite or sensible or otherwise showing you're capable of emotions besides haughtiness and anger are "weak" and "womanly."

    But hey, there's a reason I'd rather sleep with women than men.

    I suppose it can be agreed upon that sarcasm and "tell it like it is-ism" has now been rendered boring and dull on part of the speaker?

    I suppose it's just these kinds of folks going "I don't give a fuck, despite me letting you know I don't, because secretly, I give a fuck about you giving a fuck that I don't give a fuck."

    I don't know why people need to try to be complete dicks at all, when they could simply just discuss whatever topic.

    Edit: That was badly worded.  I do, and it basically has to deal with social cues, roles, acceptability, and such.  That said, it still bugs me why people don't just put it aside.
