Apparently Walt Disney wanted to do something with Osamu Tezuka before he died

Tezuka was also supposed to be the art director for 2001: A Space Odyssey, but couldn't afford to leave his studio and live in England for shooting.
Man, that'd be something I'd love to see.
Well, we have Disney working with Studio Ghibli today, so this isn't that really hard to imagine.
