    Scylla was, sadly, the higher-paid of the two.
  • Makes sense, considering Charybdis sorta just sucks in stuff. Not too much effort required.
  • I love when Charybdis is interpret as an unseen monster generating a whirlpool and not the whirlpool itself. I'm not sure which came first in mythology.

    I remember some made for TV miniseries where they were the same monster, Scylla was just Charybdis's tentacles.
  • I think it was originally a monster, though my research on the matter is limited to Wikipedia. XD
