No and no. it will voluntarily stay there until it dies of starvation though.

Also, I want to scan Gardevoir, as we probably won't come back for it, but I feel like it's a bad time. That's the awkward thing about the Pokedex in this game: you might not get another chance to scan something in the future (or the near future, at least), but to do so in the circumstances we've been presented with on recent occasions would be really awkward.

Though I was considering swapping Abra on the wishlist for something else...
I just feel bad for the Gardevoir. Even if we survive the encounter on the peak of Mt Moon and have enough strength after to take down Gardevoir so we can get it somewhere else... What then? Even if we decided to keep Elizabeth's Pokemon, I'm fairly certain Gardevoir would be absolutely unloyal to us and throw a fit, and just abandoning it could lead to it committing (passive?) suicide
Well, when we're done with what we're doing, we could go back and tell Gardevoir that we want to take Elizabeth to town for a proper burial. That would probably at least get him/her out of the cave.

One of them's a Kadabra; I'd imagine it's smart enough to make a reasonable decision on the matter, on its and Beldum's behalf. Come to think of it, I'd imagine there's a fair chance it could decide for them and enforce its decision, whether we disagree or not.

Yeah, I don't think we ought to try to force Gardevoir into anything; if I recall correctly, she has a really high Special Attack stat (not to mention stronger moves), and we don't have much, if anything, with high Special Defense, so she could easily pick us off one per turn, if not kill one 'mon per turn.
Trying to bring Elizabeth into town (with Gardevoir's escort) would probably be fine, though.

She's not deliberately committing suicide. That's what you need to get straight.
The Gardevoir and Elizabeth have a history that I will hopefully get to expand upon later. They have been through a lot together.
Minor spoiler: Pretty much every Legendary so far has had a Channeller to speak for them- one of those Mystics who can see into other Pokemon's heads. Elizabeth and the Gardevoir practically lived in each other's heads, though- they were really close, and had been together for a long time like that.
So she's not actively going to commit suicide. If you can talk to the Gardevoir and convince it to let you bury Elizabeth's body, it will follow you to its' new resting place; and if someone leaves food for it, it will eat.
The story ain't over yet.

Also, something I forgot to mention, but I was going to give everyone a trainer level for the cavern thingie.
I might improve enough to participate in a few hours, but that's a big maybe. If you guys don't want to wait, Cygan or someone can take over Carrie duties this session.
