    I'm starting to regret how I statted out Jackie. On one hand, it will be good for RPing's sake--her realization that she won't be able to keep up with enemy Pokemon head-to-head and her adjustment in other areas, that is--but on the other hand, I've set myself back from an Ace Trainer/Tag Battler/Type Ace/Stat Ace build that I really want to try now.

    I guess I'll do that for a backup character. >.<

    I thought out Greg's stats pretty extensively. The stat increases I get when I become a psychic will cancel out the stat penalty for becoming a Capture Specialist. Though my Strength will suffer.

    I sort of want to continue the Martial Artist route, but I've had two more thoughts:

    1. Will I actually be able to keep up with enemy Pokemon? Martial Artist (or Psychic, or Mystic) might become obsolete at higher levels.

    2. What if I'd rather go dual-wielder? That would get in the way of Martial Artist, but at the same time it might work much better (and be a lot cooler) to have two radically different Pokemon on the field at the same time, covering each others' weaknesses.

    High-end Pokemon will always win against a human, but you could take Pokemon that are fairly tough- 30-40 range, maybe.

    That's probably not enough, though. At that point, will 30's/40's be an issue?

    Well, I have a backup character made, in case Jackie dies or something. Not that I really want that to happen, but this new character will be built more efficiently, in the end, I think. At least from a mechanical standpoint. Though if Jackie's Pokemon are raised well enough, hopefully it won't matter, and she can at least provide support or something. And this is also purely mechanics; I don't quite have a personality for the new guy yet, but I can see Jackie going far and becoming memorable.
