If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

    ^ Why'd you type out image? 8D?

I tried to put the image in, but for some reason, it didn't work.

I wonder what kind of Pokemon we'll find on our way? :D?
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Does Pewter city have a library of any sort?

Also is it fair to assume the internet exists? Pokemon technology is rather inconsistent.

^ Professor Oak gets email in the games if I recall

Does Pewter city have a library of any sort?

Yes. It also has internet, but mostly, it's just got Pokemon stuff and a giant encyclopedia like Wikipedia on it. No games or anything. It also has email.

If you're gonna timeskip, then you have permission to assume that your Pokemon can be healed at the Centre. RP that if you want, I don't think I necessarily need to :V

I'm shopping first, so I'll need a list of stuff I can buy at this mart
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Potion, Pokeball, Antidote/Paralyze Heal/Awakening, tent, food, water.

I don't see tent, food, or water on the list, so I can't find their prices (or in the case of the tent, if it does anything else other than provide a place to sleep)

EDIT: Oh, the Players rule book implies that there are books at every store (otherwise it would be impossible to buy a book at every pokemart to keep the study session feat). So is there a book that would tell Charles about edible foods in the wilderness?

The tent provides a place to sleep and prevents you being fatigued. Buy it for, I dunno, 800 credits

The food is probably around 100 credits for a day's worth, but covers your Pokemon as well

The water is around 50 credits for a day's worth

How many does the tent fit?

And how far is it to Cerulean?
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Er...Greg just got food from his house. Do I have to buy it, or...?

    >.> INUH only thought of that because I mentioned it in the thread
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
    You did?

I'm on my phone and kinda busy, so I'm not reading every post >.>
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
You don't have to buy it, you just have to hope your Pokemon can eat it :V

It's about three days to Cerulean, longer if you wanna train. I'll give you a hint and say that you have up to a week before you kinda need to be there.

    A tent fits three.

Yes, there is. I'll just say books cost a flat 500 credits.

I imagine Greg had some food for Littorio on hand :P

^^ ...Actually the book says that they cost 70 poke

    Study Session: Trainer Feature
Prerequisites: Bought a book at least once.
Effect: You must buy a book at each Pokemart for 70 per town visited. If you don’t have 70 when you enter a town you have never visited, you lose this Feature and cannot get it back. Your Wisdom stat gains 1 point or your Intelligence stat gains 1 point. You may take the Study Session Feature multiple times. If you take this Feature multiple times, you still only need to spend 70 at a time.

...Team Rocket getting a Lati on their team isn't really that bad. Lati are among the legendaries that Battle Frontier trainers can have. All it would do is get the Elite Four's attention (A Lati being used to ravage Kanto would probably get their attention) leading to a smackdown

Yes. Unless you wanna convince it to Ally with you, in which case it could cause trouble in the future, or not.

    Er Cygan, it's 2720 credits, not 2220

    800- tent

    200- pokeball

    200- potion

    200- antidote

    500- food

    250- water

    70- book

    = 2220

    where did i go wrong ;-;

All Carrie and Ray know are that these stones deal with Legendary Dragons.

Legendary Dragons tend to be pretty badass.  That's all they've really got to go on.  They don't know exactly how powerful they are.

    v That too.
