    Getting into post-secondary at age 17 is not that uncommon. If you are born in the second half of the year, chances are you'll start school at an age where you'll end up being 17 after Grade 12.

    Well, the thing is, I was born in February, for starters. For another, I actually finished at 16. Most universities didn't accept me because of that (Supposedly, from what I heard) 

    that, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to study at all so I took a sabbatic semester.
