Yeah, I get that. The point has been hammered home for a good 6 or 7 years at this point.

So long as we've established that, shall we go back to considering the Star Wars films themselves and re-examining whether the whiny fan's complaints have some merit?

    I think Star Wars fans are a bit too vast to say they're all assholes. I've met some very friendly people who were the full-on cosplaying type of Star Wars fan.

    I find the writing for the prequels terribly dumb. George Lucas is a horrible writer. His original scripts for the original films were even horrible, they had to be completely redone by people who knew what they were doing.

    That said, Return of the Jedi was the most hated film of the original trilogy and is my favorite....because of all the muppet creatures. I guess I'm not a real Star Wars fan.
