Having an idea for a game that will never see the light of day

:< I just came up with a skeletal outline for a Zelda game. However, since Nintendo pretty much never takes ideas from its fanbase, it may never see the light of day (at best a fan game, but the chances of a well made Zelda fan game...)

You know, I actually think this is proba... Dammit!
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
Likewise. Made more frustrating by the fact that some of my game ideas would probably materialise by the hands of others if they did some damned research. -_-

^^ It probably is a good thing most of the time, but there are a few good ideas that may die (Although I'm not going to assume any of my ideas are the good ones) because of this
  • I'm pretty sure that if I were to mourn the loss of good ideas, video game related ones would be low on the list.
  • I figure, with Zelda being so simplistic and forumulaic, that a well made fan game wouldn't be too difficult.

^ I've seen one attempt. It was just a proof of concept they made but dear lord it proved that you can make a bad Zelda fan game quite easily
