I assume you wouldn't have it on Safebooru?

You may not agree with him--I know I often don't--but that doesn't change anything.
There used to be a minor meme based around such overblown comparisons. Never caught on, but don't use those kinds of statements. They just sound like crap and they make you look lame.

That said, the Uganda comparison isn't an example of Reductio Ad Absurdum anyway.
^I'm pretty sure it would be.
Basically, I'm not saying you HAVE to live without TV Tropes, but it seems to me like it's the only thing that matters in your life, and there's no way that can be a good thing, regardless of whether or not you enjoy your time there.
Your attachment to the place is annoying to me in a personal way, since when I was in high school I'd shut myself off from opportunity without even realising how much I was missing. It hit its peak at the time I refer back to as "The Worst Summer Ever", where I spent pretty much the whole time tabbing between about three websites, and barely speaking to anyone for about six weeks because I never made the effort to scout out anything else to do. It was boring as shit. But I was the one who made it boring. Most of the bands I listen to on a regular basis, for instance, wrote a lot of thier material before I'd even learned to speak, and whenever I listen to them I kick myself for not having done it sooner... The same applies to a lot of books as well.
