    So. Rewatching Blade for the first time in ages right now.

    Quite a lot of fun. And the swordsmanship is actually pretty neat. Not a whole lot of unnecessary movement, and it looks quite realistic for what it is -- a homebrew style developed from necessity rather than via the study of historical texts or the like. He even goes so far as to let the characteristics of the weapon do the work for him rather than overcommitting energy.

    Except for the fight at the end, goddamnit.
