A majority of the Zeldas' game start.
Could we PLEASE have a prologue where we start with, and stay with, the sword? Thanks.
I love pointless dicking around as much as the next person, but please, make sure it's actually fun.

Zelda II: You start with it just outside the sleeping Zelda's palace thing. Yes.
A Link To The Past: You grab it from your dead(?) uncle within 5 minutes. Okay.
Link's Awakening: You head back to the shipwreck to reclaim your sword, with just your shield to protect you. ... still okay.
Ocarina of Time: Okay, grabbing your sword from a silly ass maze is simple enough, but the fact that you have to steal from friends and neighbors just to buy a damn shield and allow your bitch ass bully to let you access the first dungeon is kinda pushing it.
Majora's Mask: Who the fuck cares about your sword, you just got transformed into a damn deku scrub. Hope you know what the fuck you're doing and know where to poke around, or else your ass'll get game over'd into trying to find out all over again.
Wind Waker: Engh... same with MM, but without the transformation, and more NPC induced stupidity and poorly implemented stealth gameplay.
Twilight Princess: >
It's meant to introduce the basic mechanics of walking, targeting, items, etc. for the kiddies. Luckily it's never more than half an hour and is most of the time interspersed with a new gameplay mechanic to keep stuff interesting for the fans.
Still, I wish for once it would follow the example of some fangames and use a swordless sequence based on run-and-hide(a bit like Forsaken Fortress the first time, but without the clunky, slow-paced stealth).
Also, I got to play Skyward Sword at Comic Con. The controls are sublime. No more jumping forward when you mean to roll to the side. This one will not take me several months to beat.
You start with a sword in the CDI-games. They had pretty decent voices in the Dutch version.

I've heard lefties say it's pretty easy to acclimatize to the right-handedness, so that'll probably turn out okay.
Oh right. I guess you wouldn't know because YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT YET! =P
The only worry is the boss was kinda sword-swinging dependent and I hope that doesn't reflect all bosses.
Hahaha fuck your opinion
^You can jack off to sword-play all you want, but Zelda bosses are surrounded around using your tools to solves problems, not slicing shit till it breaks.
