Give them pleasure - the same pleasure they have when they wake up from a nightmare.
Apparently my expat shield proxy was used by someone, and they got banned.

But that's not the interesting part.

Look at the reason:

You are banned! ;_;

Banned You have been permanently banned from all boards for the following reason:

>implying Sasha Grey has an IQ

  • This is why I don't go onto imageboards that often.

  • Give them pleasure - the same pleasure they have when they wake up from a nightmare.
Well where else am I supposed to get my weird guro...

  • Did not know that place existed until I Googled it.

    Also, this:

  • Give them pleasure - the same pleasure they have when they wake up from a nightmare.
    NEVAR ENOUGH.

    Also, /b/ is fun.

    And evil.
  • I remember seeing a thread on /b/ that had some guy who killed a girl IRL as the OP.

He tooks pics of her dead body (which he had dragged into his house) and described how he mutilated it.

The /b/-tards were cheering him on.

    I don't go on /b/ anymore.
  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!
This is why I stick to /tg/.
  • I went on the /co/ board (yeah, I know) the night they showed the new South Park episode. In that episode, Stan sees and hears everything as shit because he's recently become cynical, and by the end of the episode, he's started drinking.

Every other poster on the board was talking about how that whole cynic angle hit way too close to home for them, and that they were seriously depressed by the end of it. It was amazing to see these guys in such a state of vulnerability.

Oh cool! The hotlinked B& pic changes! :D
  • All I see is a big-ass "4CHAN" image.

What I want to know is how

">implying Sasha Grey has an IQ"

    got someone banned.

He didn't really do it.  99.999999999999% sure that the pictures came from somewhere else, and everyone posting there knew that and everyone was just acting like he was serious because it's more fun that way.  That's how /b/ is.

    Has friends besides tanks now
I've considered entering /b/ before, but from what I've heard of it, I'm scared that merely entering that board will cause bad things to happen to my computer. Is this true, and if so, what protective measures can prevent it?

I used to go on /adv/ when I felt particularly self-pitying, though. That struck pretty close to home and even scared me a little. And now I'm tempted to go back. >_>
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
This is why I stick to /tg/.

The only real protective measure you need is just not being a fucktard.  Or, rather, don't download shit if people link to it (and, really, you're probably better off not clicking links in general).  The site itself won't harm your computer though.

  • a little muffled
Most times I've gone on /b/ it's just been endless goatse spam.

That's what I expected, but I wanted to be absolutely sure before I entered. Thanks.
  • I need to check out /co/ more often. They have good taste and cool threads.
  • >2011
    >Actually getting a virus.

Sorry, that's the 4chan rubbing off on me.

/b/: Trolls trolling trolls with full knowledge.
/tg/: elegan/tg/entlemen with good taste; occasionally gets troll-y.
/m/: neckbeard otaku who think they can troll, but fail.
/vp/: bunch of furries in denial.
  • I only go on /lit/ occassionally to feel bad about choosing a literature degree.
  • We Played Some Open Chords and Rejoiced, For the Earth Had Circled the Sun Yet Another Year
I've been going on /mu/ almost daily for about 2 months, a fact which surprises no one.
  • Trying to enter /b/, huh?

    Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'entrate.
  • Kichigai birthday!!
What I want to know is how

">implying Sasha Grey has an IQ"

    got someone banned.

The /b/ rule of having no rules also applies to mods. They can ban you for whatever they feel like.

The boards I go are /v/ and /co/ mainly. I also go sometimes to /ck/,/a/,/int/,/vp/ and /i/
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
/tg/: elegan/tg/entlemen with good taste; occasionally gets troll-y.

I'm sorry, what was that? I must have misheard. It sounded like you said the board that mostly spams 40k and rule 34 of it has good taste.
  • I suppose they're trying to be ironic?

I dunno, I don't even go near 4chan at all, so...
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
I enjoy /tg/ but for some reason users have the misconception that because they're not /b/ that they're classy.
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
Why are you using a shield proxy, as opposed to your own IP address?
  • This sounds like a bad porno name.
  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!
    >Implying that the 40k spam isn't the reason why /tg/ is awesome.
    >Also homebrews.
