Demanding Careers

After watching Black Swan, I'm wondering, besides Dancing, what are some really demanding careers?

Boxing is one for sure.

    I think most any kind of sports career would be, especially stuff like being a pro basketball players where you have to be in great shape to perform at all.

    Being a member of Congress is pretty demanding too from what I can tell, especially since even during vacations you do not functionally get much time off and you have to deal with getting elected. Most political careers seem to be similarly demanding since you have to deal with both the legislating and campaigning aspects of your position at the same time. Plus, you get to be the object of hatred and anger a lot of the time, which I imagine can be pretty taxing on you emotionally.
