    There was a bit on Community where the group watches a cult british TV show called Inspector Spacetime and the joke was basically that it was Doctor Who followed by the aspergers character saying 'this is the best show I've ever seen in my life.'

    They also completely ignore that they were mocking the show and its fandom.

    He's not terribly offensive, but a good deal of humor does come from his social awkwardness, but all the characters are broken in some way.

    Admittedly, I couldn't get into it but Juan liked it so you might enjoy it

    Abed doesn't have aspergers. It's like when TvT said that Calvin had asperger. Although Abed does have mental problems, rather than just a big imagination. 

    Also, the point of the joke was not to mock the Doctor Who fandom. The point of the joke was simply that Abed needed a new show to watch and British TV wasn't satisfying him because it was too brief
