*recently got her first Android phone*
There's an app for that.
I love it...Just..all the cool things...
Need to wait until June for an upgrade.
And I need to till May for an upgrade.
What I read.
" almost never look up information about a company/local business that I
wan't to call/use on my computer. I just use my phone. I get all of my
breaking news delivered to my phone. If I am in a store about to buy
something that costs more than 20 bucks, I take a picture of it and it
shows me where else I can buy it locally and if it is any cheaper there.
It also shows you where you can buy it online, and if shipping to your
zipcode would be any cheaper. I use Google Voice on my phone, so I get
visual voicemail. I get all of my email, work email and texts in one
spot, along with my personal and business calendars. I honestly almost
never use anything but my phone for personal email. Hell you even get
flash support now on your phone. And I only have a few non-standard
apps. I am only scratching the surface.
I have had a blackberry for work since 2005, but I have never "needed"
my phone until I got my droid. I am sure Nodack feels the same way about
his iPhone. Smart phones (truly smart phones) with touch screens are
just so damn convenient they are had to live without once you start
using them. Like crack. Or phxsuns.net."
This sounds so awesome, and kind of scary too.
These guy is talking about how he finds himself saying "There should be an app for _______" frequently. It just becomes such a part of your daily life, if you can run the apps, that the future for smart phones has so many possibilities.
And I kinda feel the same way about my phone now.
