    This sounds quite normal for heterosexuals.  Presumably your own penis is rather present in the act.

    This might not totally help you understand your father's perspective on this (nor am I trying to justify it), but I think that view of bisexuality is actually common in certain circles. From what I can tell, part of the reasoning behind it is mostly based on the more traditional view that relationships tend to be long-term and thus it makes little sense to be interested in more than one variety of them.

    Basically, I think the main idea is that if someone is in a relationship with someone of the opposite gender, the expectation is that he or she is going to go the distance (i.e. marriage or the equivalent) with that person so being attracting to someone of the same gender (or another person of the opposite gender) is either just irrelevant or actually very inappropriate. Your mileage may vary on whether that makes any sense, but I think that kind of binding relationship is probably consistent with a lot of more conservative religious ideas about fidelity in relationships.
