    I still don't get why people are surprised that the tool for removing an account from the sockpuppet counter just removes it from the sockpuppet counter.

    Well, they could have done more to indicate that "deleting" an account only does that. It would have been really nice if I could have just had all my posts turned into Troll Posts or something.

    This will remove the 'juancarlos11' troper account. It removes the account you are logged in with. Be sure you want to do this. There is no backing out after you press the 'delete' button.

    Notice that I had already nuked Juancarlos11, but that I'm still using it and I still can use it if I want to.

    The nuke makes the account not count to the Sockpuppet Counter, so you wn't get banned for having more than ten sockpuppets to your name.

    Makes it not count it as one of your sockpuppets, thus making it easier to avoid going over the ten-puppet limit and thus getting bounced as a spambot.

    Welp, it's still usable, but in the sense that you can reregister it, rather than it being lost to time and space.

    This means that you can't bypass the ten sockpuppet thing, but that the nuke is bullshit, and worse yet, an easy way for anyone to impersonate an user, as most people who nuke accounts tend too nuke their own as a way of ragequitting the fuck out of everything.
