To get the obligatory "Bugs Me" part out of the way, no, this does not automatically translate to time travel possibilities as media sensationalism might have you believe. It's only 60 nanoseconds. But still, that's all it takes to screw the rules. Yes, it might be just a measurement error, but I doubt that any of us are qualified to confirm or deny that, so we'll just have to wait and see.

    @INUH: They still do, I'm pretty sure? As the article itself notes, this would be far from the first time experimental results that appear to contradict relativity turn out to be in error.

    The only reason why Neutrinos can do this (this is assuming this isn't some sort of fluke) is because they have no mass and no charge. FTL travel will still remain impossible unless we can somehow make normal matter act like Neutrinos, and good luck with that since we can barely detect them.

    Best case scenario, the cosmic speed limit is raised slightly, Spacial Relativity is re-examined, and the phrase "Faster than Light" is displaced by "Faster than Neutrinos".
