I really hope I didn't make this thread a "post creepy stuff you found on Fetishes" thing. I just used the quotes I did to illustrate a point.

Don't get me wrong, there's ample material I could use, but still.
  • Kink: Yeah. I guess I was hoping college would change all of that.

You've only started college AHR, so you have to wait. And even then a lot of folk don't mature in college.
  • Bahhhhhhhh.
  • You can change. You can.
Yeah, I have to agree with Kink there. Hell, I haven't felt much of a change between High School and college in terms of student attitudes.
  • Hell, a lot of people don't mature at all.  Funny how things work, really. >.>
  • I have noticed a huge difference in a lot of other parts of college life.

    Just not sex.

    So...yeah.

    You can change. You can.
Maturity is a really subjective quality anyway.

^Oh definetly, but there's still the usual attitudes towards life, education, etc etc
  • Well, that's just it. Life, education, people. It's all gotten pluses.
  • You can change. You can.
Yeah, I'm going with different cultures in this one.

HAhahahah. Maybe I'm just hanging out with different people than I would in highschool. Wider variety. All that.

I'm apparently very good at finding people of that variety. I realized this when all of my suitemates were the complete opposite of the type of people I hung out with.
  • I feel very odd, given that all of my high school friends can talk about sex and not start giggling uncontrollably.

Maybe that's why I never seem to mature.  I keep hanging out with the same kind of people that I did back in high school.

'Course, that means I'm still hanging out with no-one, but, uh... Um...

...Sigh.  Damn you people and your developed social skills. >.<

^Uh... That's because they're kids, Chagen.  Sex is all one big titter-fest to kids, in more ways than one. >.>
  • My fond memories of high school recall our valedictorian giggling when we discussed sex on the very first discussion of AP English 12.

    He was an idiot.

    Highest grade of the year.

    But an idiot.
  • Moerin: Uh, I was saying how they didn't stupidly giggle when sex comes up in the conversation.

Guess he was one of those high INT, low WIS builds, huh?

...And with that I suddenly realise why I haven't had any for years. >.<

^IT IS LATE AND I ARE SLEEPY DUMB RIGHT NOW. >.<
  • Yeahh.

I dunno if it was even high INT. More like high stereotype.

    He was indian.

    Yeah.

    -is still in high school-

I haven't had any classes with my friends for the past two years (last year and currently this year), with my only real interaction with them being over Facebook. It sucks, of course, but at the same time I think it's forced me to mature as a person. Compare pre-IJBM me to me now.
