What is considered to be a spoiler?

They call me Rate Miser, whatever I see... turns overrated in my eyes...
When is something obscure enough that it's not nice to spoil? Possible exceptions I can think of are popular games like FF4 and 6, and plot twists like Rosebud and Darth Vader's identity.

  • When it starts entering into the minds of people who don't mind spoiling it, is when it stops being a spoiler.

    OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
I know practically nothing about FF6. I know a bit of FF4's plot because it's the only game in the series for which it took me more than an hour to get bored and quit. I only know FF7's plot because people online talk about it constantly.

So the answer, I suppose, is "somewhere between FF4/6's popularity and FF7's popularity."\

That said, I don't mind spoilers for the series because there isn't much chance I'm ever going to play a game in it again.

Everything is always a spoiler, and spoiling the plot twists to popular movies because you assume everyone's watched them is annoying as shit.

    That I'm agreed with.
