^^ I thought that it was a trick the brain pulled on the person when you get to really high quality and that it doesn't matter at a certain point (that point being below what an audiophile thinks)
  • "Wonderful posts"

    Just this once, I'll oblige.

Though on a more serious note, I would have been more excited if it were "Guardian of the Cards" from Cardcaptors. (no, I'm not gonna do the "Imma let you finish thing")

I wanna be, the very best/that no one ever was/ to catch them is my real test/to train them is my cause!

why do I feel so nostalgic for this song

i was 4 when it came out
  • Have you tried Elite Beat Agents yet? It has Jason Paige (the Pokemon guy) singing Canned Heat and Walkie Talkie Man.
  • I should get that game one day. It looks addicting.

Also, if I ever make SAN, we are covering this song, dammit.
  • ^^ Ohh wow! I have EBA and I didn't recognize the singer until you pointed it out. 8D

I didn't either. Then one day I looked up Jason's name...

    Incidentally, he says about himself:

"My voice is 50 characters and they all sing."

When you buy from iTunes, you aren't actually supporting the artists.
  • Man, only if this song had a better guitar solo.

Vorpy: And what qualifications allow you to say that?
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
When you buy from iTunes, you aren't actually supporting the artists.

They do get some of the money.

Less than a sixth of it though.
  • That's about as much as they get with record sales anyway.

Face it: The Big Companies fuck artists over all the time. They're not fazed by it anymore.
  • $80+ per session
They definitely are phased by it, everyday.

And they actually get way more from record sales, compared to iTunes.

    Waaah >///<

  • Vivi: I highly doubt that. Record companies exist to fuck over artists. That's it.

Your hyperbole doesn't help your argument, Chagen.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
If record companies only exist to fuck over artists, then why do artists work with them?
  • Because it's kind of hard to get your music out without them.

Until the internet came along, that is.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
If you couldn't get your music out without them, then they don't just screw you over.  They actually fulfill a necessary role.
  • Except they DO exist to fuck over artists. They distribute the music and then take well more than their share of the profit.
  • What the good old Conductor said. They basically cut the artist out of all the profits.
  • $80+ per session
Yes but that is not WHY the business of recording agencies was started, and founded upon. It is not the reason they were created.

They existed once for a noble purpose but now exist to fuck over artists

    Does that sound good?

Well, iTunes doesn't work well with Roadrunner or Arista records, nor does their legal teams, so most of the purchases on iTunes go directly to Apple.
