I'm honestly not sure why it's disgusting. Most mammals don't have them, so you could probably make an argument that we're more disgusting. (Or at least our females are. :P) It's like, you wouldn't be grossed out if I said that ponies don't vomit. (Which is also true. They don't do that either.)

You could argue that scooping the ice cream out / pouring "juice/milk/etc" Has a factor of making it taste less good.

I know that feel. Mine aren't so bad that I can't eat ice cream at all, but I have to be careful to have it touch my front teeth as little as possible.
