It's taking me 4 days just to get those damn 3D Custom Girl mods again....

Well it's not like people who use the program have quicker avenues to obtain your kink without torrents.
  • Oh.

Didn't even know that that site existed. Not clicking on it (at school right now), tho.
  • Kichigai birthday!!
It's just a bunch of text, not pictures. (Unless there are Ads,I have ad block)
  • Like my school would let me on it anyway.
  • True. I basically just make this face.
You know I'm tempted to avatarize that but I have no idea who that character is or whether I'd like her.
  • Just FYI, keeping a back up doesn't mean saving your work in a different place, it means saving your work in TWO places.
  • ^ He mentioned that his external hard drive was his backup, but the main hard drive he had that stuff on had crashed as well.
  • Yeah.

    Here's what happened

    >Our computer suddenly bricks
    >We take it to Best Buy
    >They recover the data and place it in a external hard drive, then they put a whole new hard drive in, and copy the backup back over

That's how we got the external HDD in the first place, then:

    >Our laptop's hard drive corrupts again
    >The data is unrecoverable, and we have to buy a recovery disk from HP and restore it to factory conditions
    >It works
    >For 4 days, then something happens and my mom has to restore it again

And that's how we got here....
  • 1. Next time, don't wait until your hard drive dies to copy that stuff to an external drive, if it's stuff that's important to you

    2. You had to...buy a recovery disk? That's pretty low on HP's part, most PCs I know of come with those right in the box.
  • No rainbow star
^ Toshiba pulled the same recovery disc crap with my laptop
  • No we lost the disc because the computer was like 3 years old

Best Buy is nowhere close to the best place to get a computer repaired. Considering that most of the time the employees are paid somewhere close to minimum wage and not the real wage of a professional computer repair specialist, and are hired to sell products, not to repair possibly fatal errors in hard drives, most of the help you are seeking from them usually composes of replacing parts, not fixing possible fatal errors that would re-occur. Some people can do that, some people can't.

It would be best to seek out a computer repair shop instead of a Best Buy. My experiences with them tend to not work out so well, when a simple computer repair studio that is a bit far downtown can fix the problem far better than BB.
  • Poot dispenser here
    Bleh, HP computers.

That is Crona from Soul Eater.
  • ^ That still doesn't mean anything to me, though.
