Luigi the Best!

Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
Luigi gets no respect, no respect at all. Mario gets all the attention even though Luigi is the better jumper, doesn't use the FLUDD in Brawl, isn't running to save Peach everytime Bowser gets bored, and he is always good for a game of anything.

The reason nobody likes him is because he's an incestuous pedant.
  • Ijbm, everytime people portray him, they flanderize his fear to insane levels.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
He may be afraid, but he still goes on adventures... sometimes.
  • No rainbow star
    Luigi created Weegee :3
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
I like his exagerrated fear. It gives him a good deal of personality and gives some weight to his accomplishments.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington

You're right. He feels the fear any normal person would in the extreme situations he finds himself in sometimes. Jumping from platform to platform over a pit of lava... terrifying.

  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
It's the reason we remember Shaggy and Scooby more than the rest of the gang, because we get where they're coming from when we see their fear, exagerrated as it might be.
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
I remember them for the following:
Shaggy: Looked like my baby-sitter and ate things all of the time
Scooby Doo: A creepy talking dog with a rape face and a rape voice to go with it.
    Velma: Looked like my cousin.
Daphne: Somebody in school was in love with her that I remember, I didn't know his name though.
Fred: That faggot ascot wearing white boy

Then I guess Yoshi is the Scooby Doo of the Marioverse.
  • Birdo is rapier.

  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
He is a badass martial artist as well, according to his C-stick attacks in Melee and Brawl.
  • >C-stick attacks
    >C-stick

  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
    Isn't he the people's hero?
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
    ^^Yes, the C-stick. It exists.
  • It's pretty much for people who don't know how to use smash attacks.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
    And?
  • Huh. Well, I guess we don't have an argument if we can agree that you're not good at the game.

^^ And... you should learn to use smash attacks.  They're just as easy to do, and they're better.

    ^ or that. >.>

Right, I'm not good at Smash Bros. I'm not good at many games. Sure, I can beat games, but with enough effort most people can.

Though, I can use a Smash Attack sometimes.

    The_Edge,
Luigi gets no respect, no respect at all. Mario gets all the attention even though Luigi is the better jumper, doesn't use the FLUDD in Brawl, isn't running to save Peach everytime Bowser gets bored, and he is always good for a game of anything.

As for what you said about him being the only sane man, I think you may be somewhat right. I mean, I kind of agree with Counterclock about his fear being flanderized, but I think that plenty of times his concerns are reasonable. Still, when compared to fearless Mario, I do think it makes him look pretty weak.

Still, from what I can tell, he consistently performs well in battles in the Mario and Luigi series, so to some extent, I am surprised that he still is so fearful. Plus, I think he is pretty strong as Mr. L and I would like to see him receive more credit from time to time.

  • He's afraid of scary things, but that doesn't mean he chickens out.

Just look at Luigi's mansion for one.

He's an Italian plumber running around a dangerous land filled with enemy soldiers, and even that doesn't stop him from saving the day.

Gotta give credit where credit is due.

However, I really wasn't a fan of Luigi's Mansion. They could have just made it a three platformer like any other Mario game and it probably would have been fine.
