    I kinda wonder if on some level he's resisting enjoying them because they're new and a little different?

    How many of these episodes have you watched and how long ago did you enjoy watching those cartoons from the 90's?

    Yeah, I know, I thought I could be a nostalgia fag myself. 

    Anyway, I've tried MLP about...what? Three-two times now? Adventure Time has been a bit more sporadical, so I can't honestly make a judgement on it beyond the fact that from what I've seen I am not amused.

    I think MLP is something that really has a chance to grow on you, or at least that's my experience. I've heard of people who weren't really fans of it until after watching the entire season (out of curiosity or something?).

    I think with Adventure Time you can probably figure out whether you like it after watching two or three entire episodes, maybe? I guess that might not work out if for some reason you end up watching the weaker episodes.

    What Gelzo said. There are certainly weaker episodes of AT, like with all things. But a lot of them are really good.

    And my opinion on it is MLP is more popular, but AT is a better cartoon.

    I might do an AT synchtube. If I can get the freaking thing working.

    I think the general consensus among fans is that Swarm of the Century and Dragonshy are the best gateway episodes.

    Though, I think those types of discussions became less common later in the season, so I think some of the later episodes got left out. My personal opinion is that Party of One is also a pretty good episode even if you aren't a fan.

    And I honestly thought that if I did that, the original trilogy might have felt...better? As you can see by any post I've made about it, it didn't change my mind. 

    I still didn't delete it cause lol laziness.

    I only have in my computer a few episodes of Pokemon,some Adventure Time episodes, some Nico videos I downloaded to reupload to youtube and Redline.

    I'm not much of a downloading person

    I prefer downloading because I normally have an unstable connection, meaning I have to restart a lot of streams. Also, I don't have to rely on the internet to rewatch them after I have them on my computer, so..yeah.
