    Looked up the fatalities / finishers for Mortal Kombat 2 / Trilogy / Killer Instinct, checked out and occasionally wrote terrible fanfiction, sent links to dumb prank sites to my friends over e-mail, played a bunch of online chess with random people, pulled some BloodNinjas (only with less cybering), played games on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network's sites, etc. Standard kid stuff.

    I went on the magic: the gathering official forums. Even though I was there for years I didn't really develop much emotional attachment to the place, which made it pretty easy to leave when it became shit.

    Played online Flash games, mostly. Some kids were Newgrounds kids, some kids were Funnyjunk kids, I was an AlbinoBlackSheep kid.

    I remember in fourth grade, they started taking us to the computer lab in order to teach us how to use the Internet, and I had been using the Internet long before then. I remember that some of my classmates were talking about how they were going to get free X-Box's and Playstations because they clicked on the banner ads.

    ^^^One of the houses used to be my grandparents' farm, and...isn't in very good condition. Hence why the plumbers managed to find a leak despite arriving at the wrong house. And my dad was an early adopter of the internet, since it's really useful for a lawyer. He claims to have bough Amazon's first book.
