The reason why some foods stop being so tasty after eating them frequently, the reason some songs get old and boring. I understand it is useful too but if only it didn't make things so dull after a while.

    Novelty is good.


    Nostalgic familiarity is a good feeling too. Yet it is also a novelty. When you remember all the old things you used to enjoy, do they become dull again? Then again you can look at old, forgotten things from a fresh perspective.
