I was annoyed after about twenty seconds.  It took far too long for me to be able to even see their faces.  Damn camera and its "male gaze".  Also, they're not even K-On characters.

THe weirdest thing I've noticed in that video is...they made this in MMD. This is the thing that those shitty vocaloid videos are made in. You know, the horrible ones with stock animations, which are animated almost as badly as G-Mod newbies videos? I heard it's impossible to get progressive bending and skin-blending movements without having to remodify the models a couple hundred times, while panning the camera.

....how the hell did they make this without messing up so much?

It was written by the person who wrote the "What's a Weeaboo" and "Nipon" song as well, and helped that one girl make the cloverfield filk cover song, but I forget his name.

There is some more information about it here as well. I do agree about MMD though. I think the models and animation can be rather unpleasing to the eye, but I realize that is kind of subjective. However, it does encourage creativity which I like.

Well... they did, but not outside arcades and not outside Japan.

But yeah, I really would have liked it if Konami had a bigger presence outside of Japanese arcades with music games that aren't DDR.  I really want to play DrumMania, for one thing.
