    I liked MGS 4. >_>

You can't possibly go wrong with MGS

I used to believe this, until I played Peace Walker.

I liked Portable Ops though, even though I personally consider it discontinuity due to its contradictions.

MGS4 annoyed me. Too many cutscenes (in b4 MGS ASSHOLE) with poorly written and delivered dialogue and a story far too convoluted to be effective.

At least the gameplay rocked, though.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
I like a lot of the ideas behind Metal Gear Solid, I like a good deal of the gameplay, I like a lot of the characters...

but MGS is and has always been badly and exhaustingly written, which is a pretty fatal flaw for such a cutscene-intensive game.

    There are English-language Vocaloid games?

Nope, I'm importing mine. People say it's dead simple to figure out even without knowing Japanese though.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
I want a Vocaloid fighting game  using the Blazblue engine... >_>

@Malkavian - Are you Yahtzee, by any chance?

I've never saw what was so bad about the writing in MGS 4 beyond Act 5 and Raiden's whole emo crisis.
  • @Malky: fffffffffffffff- I'd buy it so fast

A Vocaloid fighting game would seriously make me so happy. <3

MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
^^^Why would you think that? (hides Trilby)

Nothing, it's just that Yahtzee used a very similar phrase in his MGS4 review...

    *peers closely at Malkavian*

    *peers even closer*

Nah, you haven't dissed the new Doctor Who yet. Not Yahtzee.

    ugh, yathzee.

^Oh, trust me, he has dissed New Who.

One foot in front of the other, every day.
^^^^^ The over-the-top drama and the way things are phrased. People don't talk like that in trying situations -- they try to express the most information with the least amount of words... not the opposite. xD
  • You can change. You can.
ah, well, that comes with the series and by now I'm used to it.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
^^^Only when it deserves it! When it's good I say so!
  • You can change. You can.
that'd imply that Waters of Mars is bad.

I don't suscribe to that newspaper, sorry.
  • Dude...take better care of your stuff...
  • My PSP is a used one and its holding up pretty well.
Same here. Then again, I got it from an Amazon warehouse sale. "Like New". And, indeed, it came in the original box with all the documentation still intact, and I'm fairly certain the PSP itself hadn't even been turned on yet. Fuck yeah new PSP for $100.

Anyway, Duodecim is awesome, Waltzy. GET IT. Also, every Squeenix game sans The 3rd Birthday.
  • Well, I tried turning it on today, and it was not responding to anything.

It's also about to literally come apart in two.
  • My PSP has decided to troll me again. It turned once more when I wasn't touching it.

Now I know it's simply that the on switch is fucked.

Sorry to say you probably need to get a new one.

Mine will never ever break on me.
