Everyone in Tamers seems to think that Digimon and their world entirely originated from computer data (unlike how it works in Xros Wars or what the Digimon Survive people are allegedly going for), so like, probably, yeah.
edit: that "Digital World predates computers" deal is apparently from the Director of Adventure, but I don't know if that was always the underlying idea.
