To this day I can't figure if the title was spelled that way on purpose or it was a problem in Romanization.

    well i'm not sure if it's a pun on Abraham Van Helsing or was just intended to be Helsing but mistranslated or somt hing.

    Spelling is often confusing to translate between languages.  L's and R's are tricky to convert between English and Japanese so that Dracula backwards => Alucard but it's spelled Arucard in the series.  Also it would make more sense if "Sir Integral" is renamed "Dame Integra Van Helsing" and "Seras Victoria" is renamed "Victoria Celeste".

    Trivia: In Gusmith Cats, if you get the R's and L's swapped the heroine "Rally Vincent" becomes "Larry Vincent" which is her father's name.
