You have to do some awkward combinations to do some of the attacks, but I don't see anything wrong with it.

It took me a while to figure out how to defeat the mud demon boss though.

I played Actraiser's 1 and 2, as well as Soul Blazer and the Illusion of Gaia, though.

Besides, magic doesn't work on the bosses (except Bloody Mary,but it's not like they tell you) so is even more useless
