[Sonic 1] Green Hill Zone [Sonic 2] Chemical Plant Zone [Sonic 3 & Knuckles] Sky Sanctuary Zone [Sonic Adventure] Speed Highway [Sonic Adventure 2] City Escape [Sonic Heroes] Seaside Hill [Sonic 2006] Crisis City [Sonic Unleashed] Rooftop Run [Sonic Colors] Planet Wisp [Sonic 2]Casino Night Zone (Gamestop exclusive/DLC, possibly both) Grassland city grassland city city grassland city city grassland city. With some of the games (1, 2, Adventure 2 and 2006) there is really only possible level choice, which just makes it more important that the other levels have a bit more variety.

  • Dude.

Crisis City and City Escape are nothing alike, for one. How the hell can they even be similar? Not to mention Chemical Plant and Casino Night and Rooftop Run are all completely different as well.
  • Wasn't that list confirmed to be a fake like two weeks ago?
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
It actually does seem rather fake, considering that of all the levels of Sonic 3 & Knuckles to pick, they would've obviously gone with Lava Reef Zone.

That exact list was pulled from Sonic Retro because Sega of America made some kind of legal claim.
  • The list was from a direct hack into the Sonic Generations demo.
  • Well damn. I hated that list.
  • That's a little disappointing. But the demo was very impressive. Now that I think about it, aren't most Sonic levels cities or foresty anyway? They're so fluid you wouldn't know the difference, so maybe it won't be so bad in the actual Generations game..
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
    No casino zone? :(
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
No, there is, it's just a preorder bonus.

Do they have Gamestops in England?
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
No, Game and Gamestation are our major gaming retailers.

I was wrong. It's completely fake. Here is the real list:

    (Sonic 1)Labrynth Zone
    (Sonic 2)Hill Top Zone
    (Sonic 2006)Dusty Desert
    (Sonic 2006)Radical Train
    (Sonic 2006)Soleanna
    (Sonic 2006)Flame Core
    (Sonic 2006)Wave Ocean
    (Sonic Unleashed)Empire City (Night)
    (Sonic 4)Splash Hill Zone
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
    lololol
  • They're somethin' else.
-Has no idea what this thread is really about, having not played any Sonic games beyond 1 and 2-
  • ʍɥɐʇ po ʎon ɔɐll ɐ ɾoʞǝ ʍıʇɥonʇ ɐ dnuɔɥlıuǝ
I still think Radical Train should actually be in the game, if only to make everyone who hated the stage twitch in rage and fear.
  • I fucking loved Radical Train. Never got why so many hated it, it was easy.
  • The name is pretty stupid, though.
  • Screw you, Radical Train is an awesome name. I love it when Sonic games have cheesy names for levels.
  • $80+ per session
Radical Train is a horrible stage.

^^ It makes me imagine a train bombing abortion clinics or campaigning for polygamy.

    V Yes.
  • .....You do realize "radical" means "extreme", right?
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
    TOTALLY RADICAL MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
  • $80+ per session
    Extremely bad.
  • @inkblot: Needs more Sandopolis Zone.
  • I think the level list is pretty good honestly. Only think I would have done differently would have been Egg Fleet rather than Seaside Hill and maybe Twinkle Park instead of Speed Highway. Other than that, it's a good list.
  • $80+ per session
I wonder what the 3DS exclusives will be.
  • I've played the Green Hill Zone level on it today at the Summer of Sonic convention.
    Looks promising.
In hindsight I would have videoed it for you guys if I'd known you'd be talking about it.

O'course the "Classic style"  3D Green Hill Zone and the "Modern Style" Green Hill Zone are nothing alike, and the modern one is frankly a bit freaky.

    Oh... and...
RAGE AT THE LACK OF STARDUST SPEEDWAY ... That is all.
And what the fuck is with having so few classic levels?

It started alright, but it should be more like this:

    Green Hill Zone
    Marble Zone
    Mystic Cave Zone
    Metropolis Zone
    Wacky Workbench
    Stardust Speedway
    Hydrocity Zone
    Icecap Zone
    Flying Battery Zone
    Lava Reef Zone
.... possibly the Panic Puppet Zone from Sonic 3D Blast
Then whatever modern Sonic game levels people feel like. Probably including White Jungle (better than Sonic's Green Forest) and Final Rush from SA2.
  • $80+ per session
City Escape, White Jungle, Final Rush (Shadow's version. Had better music)

    RE-ANIMATOR
    Bah.
Out of ALL the Sonic / Shadow level shotoclones,  Final Rush is the only one of Sonic's that has better music than Shadow's equivalent (i.e. Final Chase).
Besides... which would you rather navigate? Grind-rails or those fucking space-barrels?

City Escape was lame. Not sure why they'd include it.

Irrespective.... New Green Hill Zone is good stuff.
