My laptop keyboard

My family and I usually eat near it, and now the keys look really shiny from all the oil. Worse, I have no idea what to do about it. Before anyone mentions it, no they did not wear out naturally because it happened only a few days after I bought it. My laptop is very powerful and I am proud of it, but it looks like shit.

Anyone have any ideas?

That may be true but something shiny doesn't exactly look like shit most of the time.

If you had a shiny keyboard while everyone else who has the same laptop with you that kept the cool, dark finish you would understand why it looks like super shiny shit.

A good rubbing-down with an alcohol-wetted tissue or paper towel should do the trick.

It shouldn't be; isopropyl alcohol should dissolve oils.

What kind of items would have isopropyl alcohol?

A bottle of normal rubbing alcohol that you can buy at any drugstore or supermarket.  It's a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water.
