Well, to be fair, I do not think a lot of what is considered "feminine" is much better if it even is at all. This is probably blatantly obvious, but I think the key thing is for people to do things because that is what they want to do, not because doing it is what is expected of a man or a woman.
I feel like encouraging the latter type of behavior kind of restricts individualism and disrespects the fact that people are different and do not always fit into perfect little categories. Of course, even as I say this, I realize that some people act in a way that is socially acceptable just because they do not want to deal with what might happen if they acted against traditional gender roles.
(Probably not the best phrasing here)
